Developed with the assistance of the National Association and Drainage Contractors (NADC), the new Manual of Drain and Sewer Cleaning is a best practice guidance document covering both blockage clearance and planned sewer cleaning. This new manual builds on and supersedes WRc's Sewer Jetting Code of Practice, with an extended scope to cover all commonly use methods of drain and sewer blockage clearance and cleaning including:Benefits:

It also includes guidance on drain tracing and location techniques used in investigating sewer blockages.Benefits
The Manual provides detailed guidance for drainage practitioners and their line managers to understand how to correctly clean drains and sewers to:
- Minimise the risk of re-occurrence of blockages;
- Minimise the adverse impacts on customers;
- Provide a cost effective service.
