What is the credit or debit card security code or CVV?
The card security code is a unique three or four-digit number printed on your debit/credit card.
Many online stores require this information to be entered when you are making a payment for additional security. As the number is not embossed on the card it cannot be printed on receipts - making it difficult for anyone other than the genuine cardholder to know it.
Some cards, many UK-issued cards for example, have a three-digit number printed at the top of the signature strip on the reverse of the card.
How do I know if the site is secure?
When you use your credit card to shop at webookshop.com, rest assured that the transaction is secure. Our servers use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an advanced encryption technology-the Internet standard for secure transactions. This technology safeguards your personal information and guarantees privacy.
The Shopping Cart needs you to have a 128-bit encryption in order to support the security technology.
